  • How many times have you wanted to convey to someone the joy and excitement of the basic gospel message -- but stumbled in the process? Here is a book that explains the kerygma -- the proclamation of the gospel -- in a simple way. Dr. Bergsma, a professor at Franciscan University and noted biblical scholar, uses both words and illustrations to tell the story of the Bible. In this short book, he brings the gospel to life for believers and nonbelievers alike.

Readers will want to buy multiple copies of this book to give away to friends and family so that they can truly understand the amazing good news of what God has done for us in Christ Jesus.

Excellent Little Book

I bought this for my 20 yo daughter who was dreadfully catechized during her elementary school years. She has not turned her back on her faith but is not living it. She was taught as much as possible at home but theology is not my strong suit. She is asking a lot of questions. Hallelujah. This book is perfect for high school and college students. It should be handed out like candy. But with a little more discretion so they take it seriously. It is easy to read, a bit silly which is great for the audience. Love it. Highly recommend it. My daughter just asked me "who wrote the Bible?" So now I'm getting that Mp3.

Yes, There Is a God. . . and Other Answers to Life's Big Questions

The first copy I bought for a grand daughter. The second copy, bought for myself, went home with my third daughter. She wants to read and share it with her partner. So I just ordered another, and a spare. Thank you, Dr Bergsma!

I bought this for a teenage granddaughter. She is actually reading it. How do I know? She actually quoted it when talking to her friend.

yes - there is a God

Liked the way the author took into account a diverse range of perspectives - easy to follow and enjoyed the success of a convincing argument
