Just like the other books in this series, Dr. Bergsma brings forth the vision for us to better see what Holy Scripture is really saying. Each Sunday of the year is covered, as well as Feasts and Solemnities if you purchase that book (I highly recommend it).

Dr. Bergsma is, in my opinion, the authority on biblical knowledge. For those of us in our late 40’s, he is the Michael Jordan of Biblical Studies.

I read Dr. Bergsma’s Word Of The Lord prior to leaving for Mass. I suggest you do the same.

Go to Mass prepared; you will know what the message of the day is, you’ll pick up on it easier and most of all, this will help you grow deeper in your faith.

The books will last generations as they are extremely well built and durable. My only complaint is no ribbon markers. That’s an easy fix however and doesn’t make for a deal-breaker.

Buy this one along with the other 3 and be amazed at the amounts my younger gain at Mass.

Love the Mass Explained

I love the Mass readings explained, however after being a member of the Mass readings, and completing the 3 year cycle I was considering a change, but with the Mass itself being explained it is incredible. Getting the Bible elements of each piece of the Mass, combined with both the Jewish history and church history is absolutely breath taking. I am like a kid in the candy store each week waiting for the next one. I can’t wait for the one on incense. Keep em coming with the same structure!!!! Blessings to this ministry! Michael

I started a bible study with 2 of my cousins at beginning of Covid and we still carry on to this day. I had checked other websites but I enjoyed Pitre and his books so much there was no alternative. He also gave the most reasonable price. It has transformed all of our lives. We’ve just taken on another person all via telephone because we are in different states. Our studies last about 6 hours if not more. We become so engrossed and full of joy since discovering Dr Brant Pitre. We cannot envision ever returning to our all life. This study has brought so many graces to our group and it is rippling out to our family and communities.
The changes in our group have been immense. I myself have become a member of altar and rosary society, started a flower group in my church and teach members floral design, I also have taken on spiritual direction for 2 years now. Another member that was at the edge of despair, isolating from members of family and friends is now a sacristan, adoration volunteer, and involved in the church. Both the other members were not attending church every week and now never miss mass. Many miracles have taken place since I started following you Dr Pitre on you tube and reading your books. We are ever so grateful for sharing your talents with us. We thank you for your gracious service to our Lord, pray for you and your family and continue to do our bible study for the rest of our lives. Our Joy and gratitude overflows and we continue to pass on the info of your website

I've often wondered about the Lost Tribes of Israel and it is nice to hear a Catholic commentary on it. As I have long wondered about and suspected, I could be of one of those lost tribes and maybe my burning heart for Christ is because he calls for his lost sheep by name, and I hear my Shephard's voice.
