Dr. Bergsma is a great scholar, and one that is a teacher at heart. He makes tough subjects easy and common subjects new and alive. It's the case of these talks. The subject, the Triduum, is common, but the approach is not and the insights are fresh and beautiful. Thanks for another great product!
Question: The word “replacement” is used. Was it meant in this way? dolphin.org/replacement/?fbclid=IwAR3xIqwmVb_nANawe6LZZo9TeY5u6_nleTtKXpClJWZPmcBI6WLl60ARPMQ
I always enjoy the presentations by Dr. Bergsma. He is a wonderful theologian. I love the way he always refers to Jesus as our LORD. His talks are full of insights.

Every word and gesture of Jesus during the last days before his death were full of meaning, but much of that meaning is lost on most modern readers. We are thousands of years and thousands of miles distant from the first-century Jewish culture in which Our Lord lived.
Thankfully, the Dead Sea Scrolls—the remains of the library of a Jewish monastery that was flourishing in the lifetime of Jesus—give us a surprising up-close picture of the thought and culture of Jews in Jesus’ day.
Reading the Gospel texts against the background of the Dead Sea Scrolls, Dr. Bergsma delves deeper into words and details of the Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter Sunday that are often missed or ignored. Your experience of the Holy Triduum will never be the same!
