John Paul the Great Catholic University and the St. Paul Center for Biblical Theology hosted the 14th Annual West Coast Biblical Studies Conference. The conference took place at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in San Diego, featuring Dr. John Bergsma, as well as JPCatholic’s own faculty Dr. Michael Barber and Dr. John Kincaid.

I llike it though only half of it I had listened to.

Maybe because I am listening to new speakers.

The content is excellent and well worth listening to. The presentations vary in quality even for the same presenter. Some sections are very focused and enthusiastic while other sections are perfunctory. Our only real issue was the sound quality of the first presentation. The speaker is very loud and then his voice trails off close to inaudible for important content at the end of a sentence or section of material. We had to manually adjust the sound in order to hear properly. Perhaps something could be done on a technical level to improve future recordings.

Very In Depth

I am 3 CD's in and I have gone back and listened to the same CD's already a few times, which is why I haven't finished the set yet. I have Protestant in-laws and I am using this set as a bible study to build up my Apologetics skills. I Would highly recommend purchasing it!

Case arrived broken. Listened to the first three CDs and felt the production was so unprofessional and distracting that it wasn’t worth trying to extract any meaningful content from it. Very unlike the experiences I have had with Dr Pitre’s recordings.

Good talk by Brant Pitre on how we are saved. So others know…he does not cover meriting grace. Regardless, it is a very good teaching.

Hi David, I see you do have a subscrition. Once logged in, you can access everything by going to 'Mass Readings Explained' in the main menu bar of our website, then 'Watch Videos' and then pick one of the options there. The calendar view works well for finding those Mass Readings that are in the near future and The Mass Explained will take you to videos in that series.
