Jesus The Bridegroom, The Greatest Love Story Ever Told

This topic is very important today since marriages are under attack. We need to learn more about Unconditional Love like Christ offers us. AGAPE is a word that is seldom taught to Christians.
This Amazing Love of God is beautifully taught in The Book of Hosea in the Old Testament. I was overwhelmed with the Wisdom from a retreatant at a Prison retreat recently. He shared a HOPE for children after reading several children's letters that we call Children's Agape. "Everyone wants to know that they are loved. Children require love. If children were taught the meaning of AGAPE love at a young age, then maybe we would not have so many inmates going into prisons today." I too have become extremely Hopeful that our families seek to understand why God called Hosea to marry a harlot and to remain faithful, even in the face of the unfaithfulness of Gomer (Hosea's wife) . Hosea paid a large price to buy his Gomer at the "auction block" whereby he modelled Christ's love for her. Hosea showed the Agape Love of God to Gomer, Hosea's wife. He also taught the Israelites how God Loves all of us unconditionally.

Good service

Pleased with the service. However my copy of the book “Jesus the Bridegroom” did not include several pages of questions and Bible references as others had within my study group.
As with all Pitre’s books, I continue to learn so much.

Hi Paulette, The hardcover edition does not have the questions as you have noted. This readers guide is only in the paperback version.

Profound yet simple!

This is one of the most profound books I have ever read in my life! I have read it multiple times! It is profound in the richness that Dr Pitre draws from the scriptures, yet simple enough that even I can understand it! It has increased my faith and love for the scriptures exponentially!
