Dr. Pitre’s lectures/lessons are the easiest to learn from. I especially like when he incorporates stories from his personal life that help put things in perspective for the rest of us(like the brush story and Mario cart). It is good to know from these stories that we are all human, but should strive to be saints.
Highly recommend these for anyone who has questions or wants a better understanding of the Bible. I set a goal to read the Bible since I never have but it was such a hard read because I didn’t understand it. After listening to these, I have a much better understanding and I actually enjoy reading the Bible! Thank you!
Cannot say enough good things. Listen for yourself! One of Dr. Pitre’s best CD’s!!! Wish I had heard it 25 years ago.
Another amazing lecture by Dr. Pitre. Absolutely life-changing! Dr. Pitre has an amazing gift!
I really enjoyed this series, so may Holy habits to get in to: praying the Rosary, attending daily Mass and always sharing a meal, with open spiritual discussions with all family members! Dr. Pitre shared his personal ups & downs, and how they (his family) got thru it! Daily Mass may not make your day perfect, but it sure gives u the strength to cope with whatever the day holds for u! Thank u Dr Pitre for helping to make everyday life easier to get thru! Blessings

Every single Christian is called to holiness. But what does holiness look like in family life? Is it really possible for a father, a mother, or children to be saints in the home? What does the Bible say? In this important new series, Dr. Brant Pitre explores 'seven pillars' of Christian family life:
(1) Openness to Life
(2) Holy Mass and Sunday Rest
(3) Family Prayer
(4) Sacred Scripture
(5) Daily Work
(6) Forgiveness and Reconciliation
(7) Redemptive Suffering
Drawing on Sacred Scripture and the teaching of the Popes, Dr. Pitre takes you on a guided tour of what Scripture and the Church have to say about contraception, the importance of Sunday rest in family life, how to pray as a family, the role of the Bible in the home, the value of daily labor, practical advice on reconciliation and forgiveness, and the central place of suffering in what Pope Francis has called the "daily martyrdom of family life." Along the way, Dr. Pitre shares his own personal experiences and stories of trying to live as a Christian family in the modern world.
If you've ever wondered what Scripture teaches about family life or if you know any young families seeking to grow in holiness, then this Bible study is for you.
