highly recommended

All those Bible stories I've heard all my life? Dr. Bergsma provides the deeper meaning behind them AND the vocabulary I need to share them with others. This is an exciting set, very informative, with a touch of humor added. The New Testament is really new and alive like never before. You can't go wrong with this highly recommended set.

love it love it love it

This should be required for all catechesis. Dr. Bergsma adds just enough tidbits from Greek and Hebrew to bring new insights into the scripture stories I've heard for years. If we all took the time to learn what's really going on in the New Testament no one would ever leave the church. Highly recommended. Great for road trips!

Mountains and Mediators: A Survey of the New Testament

I loved this set and it is so fun to learn such great details that I never knew. Dr. Bergsma is a great speaker and adds bits of humor in as well. I literally can't stop listening to all the CD's I have purchased at Catholic Productions. I carry my laptop around from room to room at home.

Building on his treatment of The Old Testament (Volume 1), Dr. Bergsma works carefully through several of the most important books of the New: Matthew, Luke, Acts, John, Romans, Ephesians, Hebrews and Revelation.

Along the way, it becomes clear how thoroughly the hopes and prophecies of the Old Testament have been fulfilled in Jesus Christ, and in the Catholic Church which he founded.

This series of talks will be helpful to religion teachers, catechists, Bible study leaders, parents, and any Catholics who wish to understand the Bible better and share their Faith.

Dr. John Bergsma, former Protestant minister, holds a doctorate in Scripture from the University of Notre Dame, and serves as Associate Professor of Theology at the Franciscan University of Steubenville.
