I thought I understood what Saint Paul’s letter was trying to teach me until I watched and read Dr. Pitre’s Sin and Salvation. I enjoyed it enough to watch it more than once in order to ensure I didn’t miss a thing. It made me grateful for being a Catholic.
I have subscribed to the Mass Readings Explained for over a year. It has helped me understand so much more about the Scriptures. Dr. Pitre is incredibly gifted! His ability to provide context and bring the Old and New Testaments together in an engaging way is absolutely unmatched.

You won't listen to a monotonous lecture, because Dr. Pitre has a way of speaking with such incredible knowledge of the scriptures and their historic origins, and the ability to explain each reading with clarity and joy, often adding an occasional comment to generate a little laughter. His talks are so easy for the average layperson to understand. I look forward to the Monday emails with a link to the current weekly video lesson and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this product.
