Critics of the Catholic Church sometimes claim the whole idea of the "Eucharist" is a non-biblical invention of the Middle Ages. Is that true?
In this talk, Dr. Bergsma--former Protestant pastor and now theology professor at Franciscan University of Steubenville--explains how the Eucharist was the central turning point in his own conversion to the Catholic Church, and how the reality of the Eucharist is already foreshadowed in some of the earliest events of biblical history: the Fall of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, and the first Passover during the Exodus from Egypt.
This helped me understand more the Old Testament prototypes about Eucharist. I shared with others and they plan to dive in as well.
This is a great public talk. I do however WISH that there was an outline to go with it. I love Dr Bergsma's outlines.
