In this exciting talk, Dr. Pitre shines the light of the Old Testament and ancient Judaism on the words and deeds of Jesus to reveal the amazingly Jewish roots of the Eucharist. Using his in-depth knowledge of Jewish messianic expectations, Dr. Pitre shows how the hope for a New Exodus and the coming of the Messiah proves that Jesus really did intend to give us the Eucharist, and it is nothing less than the gift of Himself, Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity.

In this presentation, you will explore the Eucharist as the New Passover, the New Manna from Heaven, and the mysterious New ‘Bread of the Presence.’ If you are looking to deepen your faith in and understanding of the inexhaustible treasure that is the Eucharist, then this talk is for you.

Start of the journey . . .

This was the CD that started me on my journey with Dr. Pitre. While parish priest in the Philippines, after years of staying in the United States as an instructor of Computer Science, I needed resources for the Holy Mass. This CD became foundational in that Catechesis with my parishioners, opening their minds to the Jewish roots of it. With the help of a copy of the Mishna, I have more than half of the CD's and sets of Dr. Pitre, and it expanded to Dr. Michael Barber (especially the WOG 2009 Conference), Dr. John Bergsma, Proof of this is that I still have 5927 reward points waiting for more talks. The journey with my parish is still going on.

Comprehensive Look at Spiritual Theology

Good series of lectures. Mature look at prayer that moves beyond petitionary prayer.

Parcel still on tour.

My order was actioned promptly, is all I can say, so far. I watch the tracker as my books enjoy a leisurely voyage across various US mail stops, then around Asia; last notified leaving Narita Airport 2 days ago. I look forward to tracking them to the next point, wherever that will be, please God, it will be Auckland, NZ. and at last, to my small town. Then I can review!

The Dead Sea Scrolls and the Jewish Roots of the Church

I love it. Bergsma is a very astute historian yet had much devotion to the Lord. I am currently on lecture 3. So much to learn here...

Fantastic!!

Dr. Pitre is engaging in his presentations. I have learned so much over the years by reading his books and listening to his presentations like this one. Dr. Pitre, thank you for sharing your knowledge!

Never Received my order

Can’t give it a good review if I don’t receive it. Spent a lot of money on items I ordered 14 days ago, but still haven’t received them.

Hi Gary! I am showing that it was delivered on the 12th of January. If this is not correct please let me know. I am sorry for the delayed shipping. The USPS has been struggling to keep up lately.
